We make outdoor lights the way they used to be made: slowly, precisely, and by hand. No mass production, no assembly lines – every Hunza and LuxR luminaire is produced to order and assembled by people who take personal pride in the result.

Outdoor lighting isn’t a side project for us, it’s the whole focus. Precision-engineered bodies, premium components and rigorous testing mean our luminaires are built to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions for the long haul.
Made to Last, Not Replace
Products that don’t need constant replacement are the most sustainable products of all. We pair long product lifespans with energy-efficient PURE LED technology and recyclable materials wherever possible.
Precision Engineering
Every luminaire is CNC-machined from refined aluminium, natural copper or 316 stainless steel, then hand-assembled in our Auckland factory. No compromise, no shortcuts.

Every Hunza and LuxR product starts as a design in our Auckland studio. From there it’s precision CNC-machined by local specialist partners, powder-coated and hand-assembled in our own factory, then individually tested before it ever leaves the building.
It’s a slower way to make outdoor lights. We think it’s the only way that produces lights worth putting your name on.
