Hunza® Mounting Canisters

These mounting canisters provide an efficient and professional method of mounting Hunza recessed luminaires. The mounting canister is installed during the rough-in stage of construction, avoiding damage to the luminaire itself, and the final stages of installation are completed at a later stage. The canister holds the luminaire in place by two high-temperature, heavy-duty gaskets. This allows installation with no visible screws on the front trim. Hunza Floor Lights are supplied complete with canisters. In other instances the canisters need to be specified as an option due to the variety of choices. Please check the specification sheets carefully when ordering recessed luminaires.

Canister options are as follows:

STEP LIGHT CANISTERS:

• SLCAN - Step Light Canister, aluminium (for concrete/stone)
• SLCAN 200 - Step Light Canister 200mm, aluminium (for concrete/stone)
• CANSS - Step Light Canister, 316 stainless steel (for limestone or locations near the sea)
• DKCAN - Deck Canister, aluminium (for wood, decks etc). Adjustable and is suitable for use in varying thicknesses of timber - from 10mm (3/8") 75mm (3")
• ELCAN - Euro Canister, aluminium (for MR11 Euro recessed luminaires in stone/concrete)
• ELDKCAN - Euro Deck Canister, aluminium (for MR11 Euro recessed luminaires in wood). Adjustable and is suitable for use in varying thicknesses of timber - from 10mm (3/8") 75mm (3")

FLOOR AND PATH LIGHT CANISTERS:

• FLCAN - Floor Light Canister, aluminium (for new concrete)
• FLCAN 200 - Floor Light Canister 200mm, aluminium
• SLCAN - Step Light Canister, aluminium (for core drill installation)
• CANSS - Step Light Canister, 316 stainless steel (for limestone or locations near the sea)
